Well, its been a stellar year for the Texas Longhorns, and it loioks like they should be a force in the Big 12 tournament. Its been a tough and trying season for the Longhorns, and their tough play has been rewarded with a Fiesta Bowl berth to clash with the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Longhorns, led by standout QB Colt McCoy has been stellar all year, the only blemish on their season is a loss to Texas Tech. While there are a bunch of reasons you could point to for our boys getting into the BCS Championship Game, the fact is that we didn’t get it. It would have been nice to be playing for the National Championship, but a trip to the Fiesta Bowl is nothing to sneeze at either. I have a feeling this game is going to be a good one. While Ohio State has had an season that by the schools incredible standards can be described as a down year, that team is still dangerous, so I’m not celebrating a Fiesta bowl championship just yet. While I think Texas football can, and should, pull it out, I don’t think it’s gonna be as easy as a lot of people are predicting.
